Today's vehicles are changing constantly. Being in the automotive industry, we are use to updating our tools to keep up with the vehicles. We still to this day update our tools and equipment quite often. With vehicles being more computer controlled and complicated we also need to update our minds and our resources. At Dewitz Truck & Auto Repair we have the resources we need to fix all makes of vehicles correctly and business structure in place to make sure we get all the training we need.

We use Motor Alldata for our main vehicle information source. This computer program replaces the old repair manuals of the past. Our program is updated 4 times a year to make sure we have the most up to date information we can get. Our version of Alldata includes Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. We get the same information that the dealers have. This includes wire diagrams, location of parts, connectors, grounds, etc., descriptions and operations of components, trouble trees, code definitions, torque specifications, sequences for repairs, and much much more. We also have many manuals and computer based training programs on site for specific areas of your vehicle (ignition, fuel, body controls, air bag, electrical, brakes, cooling, etc.). I also use many professional web sites for information when needed. One main site I use is iatn.net (international automotive technicians' network). This site provides tons of information and also connects over 50,000 automotive technicians to share information and help. A lot of our equipment also has software that is updated regularly for the latest information.

I receive over 100 hours of professional training every year to learn about new technologies, equipment, procedures, techniques, and information. I have to travel to other cities like Minneapolis, Kansas City, and Milwaukee for some of the best training available. I also get a lot of information from the web, automotive tech magazines, manuals, study guides, dvd training programs, and from working on your vehicles everyday. I also get a lot hands on experience on the latest model year vehicles working with area car dealers.

Your vehicle is advancing technically as fast as home computers and electronic devices that you use everyday. That is why you want to bring your vehicle to a automotive service facility that is keeping up with the changes like we are at Dewitz Truck & Auto Repair, LLC.
