Time to announce the winner of the 1st Holiday Photo Contest!! I am personally glad that this particular photo happens to be one of our soldiers with his mom because it gives us two very important key elements. First of all, this woman is becoming involved with the Ladies’ Lounge; which is why this is here, and that is so exciting!!

Second, with the war in Iraq; it makes us all realize that in some way it, whether very small, or heartbreakingly large; hits us all very personally. I am a huge advocate of telling every U.S. Soldier, current or veteran; thank you for their sacrifices and courage. They truly remind us all what true selflessness is, and how lucky we all are to have them.
